I was born, and have lived my entire life in, the ancient Jewish capital of Israel - Jerusalem. I live with my partner Iris, and I have four wonderful children - Nir, Maya, Yosepha and Noi. We just celebrated Noi’s wedding a few days ago, and the entire family - and all my grandchildren - were together. I am a huge basketball fan, and Hapoel Jerusalem is my favorite team. But, I am also dedicated to helping others, which is why I manage a home for the disabled. The Director of the Israeli Foundation for Handicapped Children said I am, "a man of gold, with hands of gold and a heart of gold."
On September 13, 2015, I had just finished celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year. As I was driving home from my holiday feast with friends, a rock - thrown by 20 year old Palestinian terrorist Abed Dweiyat of East Jerusalem - struck my car. Abed and his accomplices were standing by Asher Viner Street in Jerusalem Armon Hanatziv neighborhood, hoping to attack with stones the many Jews who would be traveling along the road at that time. When the stone slammed into my windshield, I lost control of the car and swerved into a pole. I suffered from a heart attack, and I died shortly after being rushed to the hospital.
My name is Alexander Levlovich. I am 64 years old. And I am one of The Fallen Faces.
